North of Nowhere is a multidisciplinary festival of independent
media and underground art. The installations featured here include:
Stupid Protests (APIRG, U of A campus): Photoshop-remixed versions of protest photos from various rallies and marches.
Street Art Workers Poster Project: Land & Globalization Series (outside Naked Cybercafe): a look at how corporate globalization has affected our world, how it has impacted the land, and how people are fighting back.
JustSeeds (Naked Cybercafe): a decentralized community of artists who have banded together to collaborate with and support each other and social movements.
Ingrid Rice (Outdoors, North Side, Jasper Ave. at 108 St.): the only western-based national female editorial cartoonist.
